Something’s not quite right in the quiet mountain town of Targrady, West Virginia.

About the Author

West by God is based on author Tyler Bell's time as a crime and courts reporter at the Charleston Daily Mail in Charleston, West Virginia, where he wrote about small communities just like Targrady.

Before that, he completed three combat deployments to Iraq as an infantry machine gunner in the United States Marine Corps and then earned a degree in Photojournalism from the University of Cincinnati.

Tyler now makes a living as the writer and creator of the Westside Fairytales horror and dark fiction podcast, which boasts millions of listens and thousands of devoted fans.

He currently lives in Louisville, Kentucky, with his wife, his dog, and three rabbits
